A proposal for a multi-use residential structure in downtown Buffalo, New York. The building provides retail frontage on Delaware Avenue, while accomodating a courtyard that can be opened to the public along the heavily nightlife-trafficked Chippewa Street. The apartments are sandwiched between a double-loaded bearing wall system utilizing a skip-stop scheme, allowing residents to enjoy non-obstructed living areas that traverse the width of the building.
