This ongoing series explores ideas of doubling, process, and medium. The “bodies” that result from pressing two paint-covered sheets of 4”x7” paper together result in a mirrored composition with an identical lineage. The paint then becomes the canvas for ink and pen, which is used to create a distinct individuality for each body. The studies are made to the size of a standard US postage envelope, which are then mailed to participants across the country.
